Principal's Message

I am excited and honored to introduce myself as the principal of Bonsall High School. I have been in education as a teacher and administrator for the past 29 years and I look forward to serving our school and community in the upcoming years. The 2024-25 school year is almost here and our staff and district have been working hard to make sure that we have a great start and a great year. BHS is a great place to learn, and the opportunities available for students here are incomparable. We are increasing our Early College High School program, continuing to offer multiple Advanced Placement and Honors courses and our Career and Technical Education and Athletic Programs continue to expand.

The BUSD has adopted "BELONG, BELIEVE, ACHIEVE" as our focus this year and BHS is ready to guide students to excel in all three areas. We are increasing our focus on student events and social opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. We are also increasing our counseling and social work supports for all students to truly BELONG at BHS. We will be focusing on social emotional learning, and establishing growth mindsets so that all students BELIEVE in themselves and that they can succeed in preparing for college, career, and being a positive influence in their community. Finally, we are providing a rigorous curriculum and learning experience in a nurturing community so that all students are poised to ACHIEVE their academic and personal goals.
